hey friends! i had a great weekend! time with mom, FOUND AN APARTMENT, shopping, friend time, wine time… good times :)
my little guardian angel <3
last night i had the most beautiful dream; my baby sister Haley was there. (Backstory: Haley was my baby sister who was born asleep - read more.) i am not sure if i have ever had a dream with her in it. i was 4 when we had to say goodbye before saying hello; and naturally, as a 4 year old i couldn’t comprehend much of what it meant. but this past year i have felt a strong connection to her. i think of her often. and miss her. strange, isn’t it, how you can miss someone so much that you never really met, and yet you love them with all your heart. things do happen for a reason; though i will never fully understand why she was taken from us before we got to meet her. i suppose God really needed an angel up there. and if she had stayed, i might not have a little brother. life is interesting like that. i can picture her up there, watching over me and the rest of the family. i’ll bet she’s hanging out with her 2 grandpas, her cousin dana, and lorraine. i truly cannot wait to meet her, when the time comes. until then, i am blessed for my little angel. watching over me. everyday. i love you to pieces, Haley Ellen.
